Dec 2007 Chapter Meeting Highlights:

CHRISTMAS LIMITED EDITION FIRST DAY COVERS FROM CHAPTER 56.

Tricia Richmond (McIntosh cachets) has made a limited edition (50 covers in total) of a very colorful Christmas Cachet for the Fred C. Sawyer North Texas Chapter 56 of the American First Day Cover Society. A single cover was given to each person who attended our Christmas Party on Dec 14th.

We have a very limited number of covers left that are available to chapter members and friends.

The cachet pictures a blue sweater wrapped in a red bow--the wording "Wishing You A Warm & Wooly Christmas" appears across the bottom of the envelope. The chapter logo--an outline of the State of Texas with the words AFDCS Chap 56 North Texas is also part of the cachet. Each cover is hand cancelled in New York for the first day of issue of the Christmas Knit stamp (s) from the 20 stamp booklet pane.
